Lately, I've been obsessively testing testnet points, claiming it's for practice, but honestly my mind has been fully occupied with "expected returns"... I later realized that once I start calculating the returns, my emotions automatically romanticize the costs: one more point, one more signature, even crossing chains is fine. My current stop-loss is very simple: set a "total time limit" and "maximum interactions" for myself, and stop once I exceed them, regardless of how the group is bragging. Recently, everyone has been comparing RWA and US Treasury yields to on-chain yield products, which also reminded me: truly sustainable returns are very boring. Once the excitement of testnets becomes a dependency, you're not losing gas, but your attention. That's all for now, I'll check the metrics again tomorrow.
