On April 29, Polymarket issued a statement clarifying external concerns regarding a data breach: the relevant data has never been leaked, and all data can be accessed publicly through its endpoints and on-chain data, which is an inherent characteristic of on-chain data transparency rather than a security flaw. Any user can freely access the relevant data through its API without the need for payment. Previously, there were reports suggesting that Polymarket may have suffered a data breach, with over 300,000 records and exploit toolkits leaked.
