I find myself quite unreasonable: when there are unrealized gains, whether the account is green or red, I can treat it as background music, forget about it after a late-night snack; but once there are unrealized losses, even though I haven't been liquidated, my mind automatically starts making horror movies, scrolling through liquidation heat maps until my eyes are dry before bed... Basically, losing a little feels more like being fined than earning a little, and I feel unfair about it.

What's even more ridiculous is that recently everyone has been comparing RWA, the yield on U.S. bonds, and on-chain yield products, and I also get itchy to calculate whether "that safe amount" is enough to cover the perpetual funding rate. As a result, after calculations, the unrealized loss category is still the loudest, so loud that I changed my plans in the middle of the night, only to change them back when I woke up the next day. It's funny and frustrating; anyway, tonight I'll look at the heat map a little less, fooling myself into thinking I can sleep.
