Bally’s Chicago Casino & Resort celebrated a major construction milestone with its topping-off ceremony, marking the completion of vertical construction for the $1.7 billion entertainment destination. Located at 560 W. Grand Ave., the resort is slated for a spring 2027 opening and will feature a 500-room hotel, a casino floor, a 3,000-seat theater, and various dining options. The project, which has employed over 1,000 construction workers, aims to transform the former Chicago Tribune Freedom Center site into a vibrant riverfront hub, creating approximately 3,000 permanent jobs.
