CLARITY ACT ODDS JUMP TO 69% AS SENATE PREPS MARKUP

Polymarket traders are now pricing the Digital Asset Market CLARITY Act at a 69% chance of becoming law in 2026, up four percentage points on the day.

The move follows reports the Senate Banking Committee is preparing to notice a markup of the bill as early as this week, with a potential committee vote next Thursday. Draft text has already been circulated to industry groups for review.

The shift traces back to a May 1 compromise on stablecoin yield from Senators Thom Tillis and Angela Alsobrooks, which addressed the bill's last major sticking point. The text bans interest-like rewards on stablecoin balances but allows usage-based incentives.

The White House is targeting full passage before July 4, with a Senate floor vote in June and a House vote before Independence Day.
