Just noticed Arbor's preferred stock (ABR.PRE) has been hitting some interesting levels lately. The Series E shares are trading above 9% yield right now, which is pretty solid compared to the typical 8% you're seeing in the real estate preferred category. At around $17.33 per share, there's also a notable 30% discount to liquidation value, so if you're into preferreds, this one's worth watching. The common stock (ABR) has been moving up about 5.8% recently while the preferred is slightly down, which sometimes creates opportunities if the company's fundamentals stay solid. Arbor's been paying that 6.25% coupon consistently, so the income stream is reliable. Not saying it's a buy for everyone, but the yield spread versus category average is definitely catching traders' attention right now.
