Just saw that Rosemary stepped down as chair at Syensqo and they've brought in Heike van de Kerkhof to take over. Happened pretty recently - March timeframe. Interesting timing with all these board shifts happening at once. They're talking about focusing on operational excellence and long-term value creation, which is the usual corporate speak but seems like they're trying to signal stability after the leadership transition. Roeland Baan also left around the same time for personal reasons, and they brought in Miguel Mantas from Allnex as an independent director. The stock was up 1.3% when they announced it, trading around EUR49 on the Brussels exchange. Not sure if this is just routine succession planning or if there's something deeper going on, but Rosemary's departure definitely marks a shift in how they're positioning themselves. Curious to see how the new leadership actually executes on those priorities.
