Lately, I’ve been really overwhelmed by multi-chain wallets, with assets scattered here and there. Even though I don’t have many positions, it looks like I haven’t finished packing after moving. So I just muted the group altogether, which instantly made things much clearer. I no longer have to run around every day with the anxiety of “Today’s staking unlock / token unlock calendar is coming,” and my mindset has become much more stable.
My current approach is pretty simple: only keep one main wallet on the main chain as a “treasury,” basically don’t connect to unfamiliar sites; on each chain, set up a “work wallet” for interactions, and clear the balance after use. Plus, I keep a spreadsheet (or a bookkeeping app) that records only three things: which chain it’s on, which wallet I used, and why I bought it / when I should review it. Honestly, fragmentation isn’t the problem; chaos comes from having no rules. Anyway, I’d rather do less than spend every day searching through a bunch of addresses for myself.
