Just saw that Gatorade rolled out a lower sugar option and honestly this makes sense given how many people are cutting back on sugar these days. 75% less sugar than their regular formula but still has all the electrolytes for actual hydration - that's been their whole thing for years. No artificial colors or flavors either which is becoming pretty standard now. They're targeting that massive gap of people who want proper hydration without the sugar crash, and with 150 million Americans dealing with mild to moderate dehydration weekly, there's definitely a market here. Four flavors at launch including Rain Berry making a comeback which is interesting nostalgia play. Prices look reasonable too, ranging from like $1.89 to $3.39 depending on bottle size. Already hitting stores nationwide as of March so if you've been looking for a hydration drink that doesn't feel like you're just drinking sugar water, worth checking out. Curious if this actually moves the needle for PepsiCo or if it's just another product line extension.
