Honestly, I got tired of searching for legit ways to make some real money on the side, so I started testing out different platforms. Turns out there's actually a bunch of apps that pay $100 a day or more if you know which ones to hit.
Started with Foap since I take a lot of photos anyway. You just upload pictures and wait for brands to buy them—anywhere from $10 per shot up to $200 if you win their missions. Took me a minute to figure out what sells, but apparently people will buy anything from airplane landing shots to random street photography.
Then I tried Market Force for the mystery shopper gigs. Getting paid to shop and eat? Sign me up. The tasks vary but you're looking at around $20/hour on average. Not groundbreaking but easy money if you're already running errands.
ClearVoice is where I started making real cash though. It's freelance writing but they match you with clients based on your rates so you're not stuck in bidding wars. I've landed assignments paying $200-$1,000 each. The key is having a solid portfolio and not underselling yourself.
Gigwalk is interesting because the gigs are super varied—could be taking pictures of grocery store shelves, auditing restaurant menus, whatever. Pay ranges from $3 to $100 per task depending on the work. Most take anywhere from 5 minutes to a few hours.
If you're into content creation, Snapwire lets you sell photos, videos, graphic design—basically any creative work. Commissions vary but you can make $25 to several hundred depending on what sells. The cool part is you're working with actual brands, not some sketchy middleman.
For typing work, Scribie has you transcribing audio and video. Beginners can hit $800/month, advanced people are making $3,200/month. It's repetitive but the pay per audio hour ($5-$20) adds up if you dedicate time to it.
Field Agent App is probably the most fun—you get paid to test products, visit stores, and share feedback. They send you money daily via direct deposit, and yeah, you can actually make $100+ a day if you're picking up multiple gigs. Tasks pay $2-20 each.
Trymata is basically getting paid to use websites and give honest feedback. Each test is $10 or more and takes 20-30 minutes. They pay out every weekday through PayPal so you're not waiting around.
Fiverr is the wild card. I know people making five figures annually selling everything from logo design to voice work to... honestly, some ridiculous stuff like yelling into a bush. The ceiling is way higher than most platforms but you've gotta find your niche and build credibility through reviews.
UserTesting rounds it out—basically you're getting paid $4-10 for short surveys or $30-120 for live interviews where you test apps and websites. It's more passive feeling than actual work.
Honestly, the realistic play is combining a few of these. Stack Fiverr or ClearVoice for bigger paydays, throw in Gigwalk or Field Agent for quick cash, use Trymata and UserTesting to fill gaps. Most people aren't hitting $100 daily from one app alone unless they're deep into Fiverr or doing serious freelance writing, but mixing platforms? That's totally doable. The apps that pay $100 a day are out there—just depends on your skills and how much time you're willing to put in.
