In the past few days, after watching that mainstream public chain upgrade/maintenance, the community has been guessing whether the ecosystem will move. I also stared at the candlestick shadows in a daze: not holding spot is because every pullback makes me want to prove myself "can sell the top," and getting liquidated on futures is because every rally makes me want to prove "can catch the bottom." To put it simply, position management is just plain human talk: first, keep the money that can survive until tomorrow, then the rest is for impulsive moves. My approach is very simple: set a loss amount that I can sleep peacefully with, then work backwards to determine position size; if triggered, just exit, don’t argue with the market. What I don’t regret is that every time I stop loss, I honestly review what happened, even if the next trade still makes my palms sweat with nervousness… Anyway, don’t let a single needle pierce through the whole person.
