After I muted the group, I actually felt much clearer.

Before, every day I’d see either “testnet points farming” or “mainnet will or won’t issue tokens” speculations,
and when emotions run high, it’s easy to get itchy hands.
Clearly committed to the long term, but still being led astray.

By the way, it also makes it easier to see through governance: delegated voting was originally for convenience,
but gradually it turned into “just hand it over to those big whales/institutions,”
and it’s hard to keep up with what they vote…
Honestly, governance tokens sometimes aren’t about controlling the protocol, but about capturing retail investors’ attention.
My approach is still the same old way: keep a small position, participate in proposals I can follow,
admit when I can’t keep up, don’t pretend to.
Let’s start with that.
