Rough day in transportation today. Just watching the sector and the whole group is down pretty hard, around 6.8% across the board. Some of these logistics stocks are getting absolutely hammered though. RXO is down nearly a quarter, and C.H. Robinson is off over 20%. Not a great look for that space.
Trucking stocks are getting hit just as bad actually. The trucking group itself is down about 6%, but you've got individual names bleeding way more. Universal Logistics is down almost 12% and Covenant Logistics is off almost 9%. Honestly wasn't expecting this kind of move in trucking today. Definitely worth keeping an eye on what's driving this weakness in the transportation and trucking sectors. Could be broader logistics concerns or just profit-taking after a run.
