Just saw that Micron brought in Michael Cordano as their new worldwide sales chief. The guy's replacing Mike Bokan who spent over 28 years there—that's a long run. What's interesting is Michael Cordano comes from Western Digital where he was basically running operations, plus he founded Prime Impact Capital. So they're bringing in someone with serious pedigree to handle customer relationships while memory chips become more critical for AI stuff.

Bokan apparently helped deliver record revenue in the last quarter before stepping out, which is a solid foundation. Michael Cordano seems confident about it too—said Bokan's sales org has a strong track record and he's ready to keep the momentum going. CEO Sanjay Mehrotra's backing him as well.

It's one of those moves where you've got experience meeting opportunity. Curious if this signals Micron's getting more aggressive with their AI positioning, especially with all the data center demand right now. Either way, Michael Cordano's got his work cut out for him following an era of record performance.
