White House Targets July 4 for Clarity Act Passage, Witt Says

Patrick Witt said the White House is targeting July 4 for Congress to pass the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act. Witt said the path calls for a Senate Banking Committee markup this month, Senate floor passage in June and a House vote before the Independence Day deadline. Witt also said lawmakers reached a compromise on stablecoin-yield provisions and are closing in on conflict-of-interest language.
