just saw that peter altabef stepped down as Unisys CEO back in April 2025. pretty interesting move - he's staying on as Chair though, so not a complete exit. his replacement is Mike Thomson, the COO, who's been there since 2015 and apparently knows the business inside out. altabef had a solid 10-year run as CEO starting from 2015, so this feels like a planned transition rather than a sudden thing. the company kept its guidance the same when they announced it, which usually means they're confident in the new direction. stock was up like 5% when the news dropped last year. curious how thomson's doing with the role now that we're a year out from the change
