Bitcoin fell below $80,000 and nearly $300 million in crypto futures bets were liquidated after fresh U.S. airstrikes in Iran. Brent crude briefly rose above $100 per barrel before giving back part of the move during Asia and European hours. The market was already uneasy after Strategy chairman Michael Saylor said the company would consider selling bitcoin to fund STRC dividend payments. Industry futures open interest fell more than 1.5% to $131.5 billion and volume dropped over 12% to $191 billion.
