Mars Finance News, May 8 – Led by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and in collaboration with teams from Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Wuhan Quantum Technology Research Institute, the country’s first dual-core atomic quantum computer was officially released. This quantum computer has upgraded the quantum processor from a “single-core” to a “dual-core” for the first time, providing a key support for China’s autonomous high-end computing power. Named “Han Yuan 2,” this supercomputer does not contain traditional chips internally; it controls 200 atoms for computation through a precise optical system. Technicians explained that these 200 atoms are equivalent to 200 super brains, arranged into two arrays forming a dual-core architecture—one for calculation and the other for real-time error correction—doubling efficiency.
