Based on the circumstances around me, the best path for children is: honestly attend a reputable mid-to-top tier public school, and have the child get into a “first-tier” university (for example, Shenzhen University, Shanghai University of Science and Technology, Beijing University of Technology, or similar—these are all great), study a major with good employment prospects, and then take the civil service exam / get into provincial banks / join foreign companies / land a role at a major tech company. With whatever money is left, put it all into getting him a beautiful two-bedroom, one-living-room apartment in the central urban areas of Beijing or Shanghai. His standard of living will exceed 99% of people worldwide.

For boys, from a young age emphasize sports and make sure to eat plenty of meat, milk, and eggs. This is how to plan for a child’s long-term future. As for those so-called super-wealthy families—where the household business is worth several billions, they send their kids to international schools and have them go abroad to travel—definitely don’t study/learn from them.
