There is a shop downstairs from my house, originally rented to a milk tea shop, with a monthly rent of 8,000.

The milk tea shop's business was poor, and after the lease expired, they moved out, leaving the shop vacant.
It's been empty for over half a year. During that time, someone came to see it, liked it, and offered 6,000, but the landlord refused, saying he wouldn't rent below 8,000.
I told him that leaving it empty is just leaving it empty, and 6,000 is better than nothing. The landlord just wouldn't agree, saying he’s not short of money and would rather leave it empty than rent cheaply to tenants.
Last month, a nearby shop of almost the same size was listed at 6,000 by the landlord, and within two days, it was rented out to this client, who is now moving in for renovation.
Now, my landlord regrets it and wants to lower the rent to 6,000 to rent it out, but now there are no tenants interested. He lost nearly 50k in half a year. If he had just rented it out at 6,000 back then, he wouldn’t have lost so much.
Friends on Toutiao, do you think this landlord is too stubborn? Is it really better to leave the house empty than to earn a little less? $BTC
