After I muted the group chat, my ears really felt clear—so clear that even FOMO came a little late… but I also find it easier to hear my own heartbeat. Last night I was itching to act and made a trade; turns out I got taught a lesson by slippage. The candlestick chart looked pretty smooth—until I actually hit buy/sell and realized the order book depth was so thin it was like paper. My order just slid right through on a single route. When I looked back, I felt like I was basically delivering fuel to someone else. Plainly put, it’s still because my order placement rhythm was too rushed—I wanted to “get it done in one go,” with no batching and no waiting for the order book to catch its breath.

Now when I see the whole narrative about AI Agents and automated trading, everyone hypes it like you don’t have to think at all—I’m actually more concerned about the security of on-chain interactions and what route the traffic actually takes… Anyway, I’d rather be slower in the future: test the order first, then add the position. Don’t use emotions as the steering wheel.
