The RWA process has moved forward again!

Payment giant Mastercard, investment bank JPMorgan, blockchain payments company Ripple, and tokenization platform Ondo have jointly completed a cross-border tokenized government bond settlement trial that links public blockchain networks with traditional banking systems. This trial is designed to bridge the “last mile” between public blockchains and closed banking systems, exploring how tokenized assets such as tokenized U.S. Treasury bonds can enable near real-time syndicated settlement in real cross-border scenarios.

This cooperation does not involve a single cryptocurrency; instead, it focuses on the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA) and the integration of institutional-level DeFi with traditional financial infrastructure. $XRP #Gate广场五月交易分享

Connecting the last mile between public blockchains and the banking system—that's a pretty accurate way to put it; the pain point lies right there.

Not focusing on a single cryptocurrency, but instead on asset tokenization, the approach is very steady.

Mastercard + JPMorgan + Ripple This combination has some potential; institutional-level DeFi is coming.
