Mars Finance News: On May 8, sources said that Hillhouse Capital is close to completing a transaction. It plans to acquire Marsh’s business that provides financial risk management and life insurance brokerage services to high-net-worth clients in Asia and other markets. The sources said that the parties are discussing the agreement, which could be announced as early as Friday. They also said that Hillhouse Capital beat other private equity firms in the bid for Public Client Services, making it the most likely buyer. PCS belongs to Mercer, a subsidiary of Marsh.
