Deep Tide TechFlow news: On May 08, according to the UK’s Financial Times, the AI company Anthropic is considering launching a new round of financing this summer, with a total amount of up to 50 billion US dollars. The pre-financing valuation is about 90 billion US dollars, which may help it surpass OpenAI (a March valuation of 8520 billion US dollars) and become the AI company with the highest global valuation. Currently, institutions including Dragoneer, General Catalyst, and Lightspeed Venture Partners have already proactively expressed investment intentions.

Insiders said Anthropic’s annualized revenue is about to exceed 45 billion US dollars, up from 90 billion US dollars at the end of last year—an increase of about five times. This round of financing is expected to be completed within two months and pave the way for an IPO later this year.
