Reuters: The U.S. International Trade Court blocked Donald Trump's new global tariffs of 10%.

This is a fresh attempt by the White House to maintain a basic import tariff after the previous tariff scheme was struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court.

This time, the Trump administration tried to use a different legal basis – Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974. This mechanism allows for the temporary imposition of tariffs in case of serious issues with the U.S. payment balance. The court ruled that the global tariffs "on everything" were not justified under this law.
