Verizon posts first positive first-quarter phone adds since 2013

Verizon (NYSE: VZ) reported strong first-quarter 2026 results, marking its first positive first-quarter postpaid phone net additions since 2013 and prompting the company to raise its adjusted EPS guidance for 2026. The company achieved consolidated revenue of $34.4 billion, adjusted EBITDA of $13.4 billion, and adjusted EPS of $1.28, driven by improved customer economics and operational efficiency. Verizon also recorded 341,000 broadband net additions and completed $2.5 billion in share repurchases, while projecting free cash flow of at least $21.5 billion for 2026.
