New national standards for artificial intelligence terminals released, covering glasses, televisions, headphones, and more
Mars Finance News: On May 8, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State Administration for Market Regulation, the Ministry of Commerce, and other departments jointly released a series of national standards titled Artificial Intelligence Terminal Intelligence Grading (GB/Z 177—2026). The series of national standards Artificial Intelligence Terminal Intelligence Grading adopts a “2+N” architecture: “2” refers to Part 1: Reference Framework and Part 2: Overall Requirements. These two standards define the concept of intelligence, level classification, and testing methods, telling everyone “what an artificial intelligence terminal is, how to grade it, and how to determine its level,” serving as the foundation for all category standards. The terminal intelligence grading system ranges from L1 response level, L2 tool level, L3 assistance level, to L4 collaborative level, with intelligence levels increasing in turn, making terminals “smarter.” Among them, the L4 collaborative level will be further clarified and improved in subsequent revisions based on the level of industrial development. “N” refers to specific standards for different products including mobile phones, computers, televisions, glasses, automotive cockpits, speakers, and headphones. The first batch of standards includes 7 categories; other category standards will be developed in the future. The Standards cover a variety of intelligent terminal products including mobile terminals, microcomputers, televisions, glasses, automotive cockpits, speakers, and headphones. (CCTV News)
