SlowMist: Linux systems are exposed to a critical vulnerability DirtyFrag, users should pay attention to updates

Golden Finance reports that on May 8th, Chief Information Security Officer 23pds of SlowMist posted on the X platform to remind Linux users to upgrade. The latest details and exploit code for the DirtyFrag vulnerability that grants root access on Linux systems have been disclosed. This vulnerability allows any local low-privilege user to directly obtain root privileges on almost all mainstream Linux distributions. It is a deterministic logical vulnerability, and attackers do not need to rely on complex race conditions. The success rate of attacks is extremely high and does not cause kernel crashes, making it highly dangerous.
