Deep Tide TechFlow news. On May 08, 23pds, Chief Information Security Officer of SlowMist, posted on the X platform saying that a privilege escalation vulnerability named Dirty Frag has been exposed in Linux systems, and that complete details and exploit code have already been published.

The vulnerability allows any local low-privilege user to directly obtain root privileges on nearly all mainstream Linux distributions. It is a deterministic logic vulnerability: the attack does not depend on complex race conditions, has an extremely high success rate, and does not cause kernel crashes, making it highly dangerous. Linux users are advised to upgrade their systems promptly.
