Jensen Huang says the AI investment boom has spread to a broader economic sector
Jinse Finance reported that on May 8, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang said in an interview that the beneficiaries of this wave of artificial intelligence investment are far more than just tech companies. He noted that the growing demand for electricians, construction workers, chip manufacturing workers, and data center infrastructure experts shows that the wave of building AI has already spread into a broader range of economic sectors. “The labor shortage we’re facing is very serious, and the demand for all these skilled workers is extremely high,” Huang said. He also said that NVIDIA’s new partnership with Corning represents an important opportunity to rebuild key parts of the U.S. technology supply chain. “To be frank, we will expand optical applications at an unprecedented scale,” Huang said. “This is a great opportunity because we can leverage these market dynamics to reinvest and revitalize American manufacturing, something that has not happened for generations.” (Dongxin News)
