Lately, I’ve really been getting tired of the "attention economy." Every time a new hot topic comes up, I can’t help but get itchy to chase after it, but the result is usually paying tuition with both time and Gas fees... I’ve now set a simple rule for myself: first calculate the cost, whether it can be interacted with with one click, whether it can be batched, whether queuing for half an hour is worth it. If it’s not cost-effective, just forget it. I’d rather miss out than get repeatedly cut.

The "attention mining" approach of social mining and fan tokens—I thought just doing tasks could make me a miner, but I found I’m more like a free worker: my attention gets mined away, but I might not even mine any coins. Anyway, I now believe more in "move less, wait more." When the hot topics are the loudest, I stay silent first. When transaction fees are low and rules are clear, I’ll start acting. It actually keeps my mindset more stable.
