Trump: Negotiations with Iran are progressing smoothly, and an agreement could be reached at any time
Mars Financial News, on May 8th, U.S. President Trump stated that the strike against Iran today “knocked them for a loop.” Trump said that reaching an agreement with Iran “may not happen, but it could happen at any time. I believe they want an agreement more than I do.” He also stated that despite the strikes, the ceasefire agreement remains valid, with Trump saying: “Indeed. They played tricks on us today. We hit back hard. They played tricks again. I call this behavior ‘small tricks’.” Trump also warned: “Negotiations are progressing very smoothly, but they must understand that if an agreement is not signed, they will suffer great pain.” (Jin10)
