Williams: Demand for U.S. Treasuries remains strong, and the economy shows resilience

Mars Finance News, according to Jintiao reports, New York Federal Reserve President Williams stated that despite the large scale of government borrowing, demand for U.S. Treasuries remains strong. He pointed out that the Federal Reserve is “closely monitoring” the government’s borrowing levels and emphasized that market demand for U.S. Treasuries is still “huge.” Williams also mentioned that, amid energy shocks triggered by the Middle East war, the U.S. economy has shown resilience, and he stated that the Federal Reserve will work to bring inflation back to the 2% target level.
