I tried once, giving a small script to an AI Agent to automatically perform a few interactions on the blockchain, and the first reaction wasn't "Wow, so clever," but rather a bit panicked: who is helping me queue, and when does this transaction count as a "real deal"? The terminology sounds intimidating, but it's actually just about following a line—data can be seen by everyone (not just a single node), transactions are ordered (so no one can cut in line or alter them), and finally finality (not flipping back after a few minutes). Recently, many people are touting automated trading narratives, but I'm more concerned about security and "who do I actually trust," anyway, after this test I immediately revoked all permissions... Socially anxious and don't want to outsmart contracts in a battle of wits.
