Just checked the latest rankings of the world's largest assets by market cap, and the numbers tell an interesting story about where real value sits. Gold's still crushing it at the top with over $27 trillion, but what caught my eye is how the tech giants have reshaped the landscape. NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Apple are basically printing money with their market positions. Bitcoin's sitting at around $1.6 trillion now - still in the top 10 assets by market cap globally, which is wild when you think about where it started. Silver, Amazon, Meta, and Broadcom round out the heavyweight club. The shift from precious metals dominating everything to tech and crypto carving out massive pieces of the pie really shows how the investment world has evolved. Pretty fascinating to see digital assets competing with traditional wealth stores at this scale.
