Blitzy raises 200 million USD, valued at 1.4 billion USD led by Northzone

Blitzy, a startup AI software development company in the US, has just completed a $200 million funding round, with a post-money valuation of $1.4 billion. The company’s total funding now exceeds $204 million.

This round was led by Northzone, with participation from PSG, Battery Ventures, Jump Capital, Morgan Creek Digital, and several strategic investors, including Liberty Mutual Strategic Ventures. This is the newest unicorn in the Boston area.

Blitzy was founded in 2023 by Brian Elliott, a former US Army Ranger and entrepreneur, and Pardeshi, a former NVIDIA architect. The company builds an automated software development platform capable of analyzing enterprise systems with over 100 million lines of code and coordinating thousands of AI agents running in parallel over long periods.

The company states that the platform can increase enterprise development efficiency by up to 5 times, with more than 80% of tasks automated by AI. The new capital will be used to expand the R&D team, sales department, and grow the customer base in highly regulated sectors such as government, financial services, and insurance.
