I used to think that "on-chain data" was the actual fact itself, believing whatever I saw; now I've been educated by nodes/RPCs/indices — that transaction record you see on your phone might just be that the entry point you're connected to hasn't synchronized yet, or the indexer is queuing, anyway, the on-chain data isn't late, but the view we see might be delayed.



Recently, someone also used ETF capital flows and U.S. stock market risk appetite to explain crypto price movements. As I watch, I think: don’t jump to conclusions… The dashboards, wallets, and browsers you use all fetch data at different speeds, and when the timelines are misaligned, emotions easily trigger FOMO. Now I’m more cautious when I do things: before important actions, I switch RPCs to double-check — that ten seconds isn’t a big deal, enough for airdrops to buy bubble tea.
