What is x402?
It is a new payment standard/protocol that allows AI applications and agents to automatically pay on-chain for services, data, or API usage without direct human intervention.
The idea is inspired by the famous HTTP 402 code:
“Payment Required”
But instead of showing a “Payment Required” message… AI pays directly and continues execution.
