Hut 8 Signs 15-Year Lease for 352 MW Texas AI Data Center Site
Hut 8 signed a 15-year lease for the first phase of its Beacon Point site in Texas, covering 352 MW of AI data center capacity in a deal valued at $9.8 billion. The lessee remains confidential, and the customer is reportedly planning dedicated infrastructure for hyperscale AI training and inference workloads. Hut 8 had originally acquired the site for its subsidiary American Bitcoin before repurposing it for AI infrastructure.
