Sequans Sells 1,025 BTC as Revenue Falls 24.8% and Debt Pressure Mounts

Sequans Communications sold 1,025 BTC in Q1 2026, cutting its holdings to 1,114 BTC as the chipmaker’s revenue fell 24.8% to $6.1 million. The company posted a $54.3 million net loss, including $29.3 million in unrealized Bitcoin impairment losses and $11.7 million in realized losses from sales. Sequans said 817 of its remaining BTC is pledged against $35.9 million in convertible notes due June 1.
