Techub News reports that, according to TechCrunch, Melinda Lewison, the head of investment at Bezos Family Office, has stepped down from the board of Slate Auto, as shown in state secretary documents indicating her resignation in recent months. This leaves Bezos without a direct representative on the board as the electric vehicle startup prepares to begin production this year. Slate Auto announced last month that it completed a $650 million Series C funding round led by TWG Global. This personnel change has sparked public speculation about the level of Bezos's support, as he has recently been focusing on the robotics startup Project Prometheus, which raised over $6 billion at the end of last year.
