Honestly, I tried several money-making apps, and some of them are really worth the time. For example, Swagbucks is good if you want to fill out surveys and watch videos, but the earnings aren't very high. But if you have a specific skill like design or writing, Upwork and Fiverr are much better; there are people who actually make real money from them.

If you have old items at home that you don't use, eBay and Etsy help you sell them. And if you already love shopping, Rakuten and Ibotta give you cashback on your purchases—no loss involved.

The new thing I tried is Acorns, an app that automatically helps you earn money by investing the leftover change from your purchases into a diversified portfolio. And if you have a car or want to deliver food, Uber and DoorDash can be a good additional income source.

My advice to myself: choose what fits your time and skills, and check reviews before you start. Not all apps are suitable for everyone, but there are many options you can try.
