Pavel Durov Says TON Finality Falls to 0.6 Seconds, Telegram Becomes Top Validator
Pavel Durov said TON finalizes transactions in 0.6 seconds, about 6,000 times faster than Bitcoin’s roughly one-hour settlement. The comparison followed TON’s Catchain 2.0 upgrade, which pushed finality below one second on April 10. Durov also said Telegram is now TON’s largest validator after staking about 2.2 million TON, valued near $2.9 million at the time.
