Lately, I've been a bit obsessed with DAO proposals. On the surface, they say "optimization" and "supporting the ecosystem," but underneath, it's really about the incentive structure—who gets to decide, how the rewards are divided. To put it simply, voting isn't about discussing right or wrong; it's about calculating who will hold the keys and who will control the budget in the future... When I see proposals that write rewards in a very "smooth" way, my first reaction is to take a screenshot and save it, fearing that in a couple of weeks, they'll deny that was their original intention.
These days, that mainstream public chain is about to upgrade/maintain, and everyone in the group is guessing whether the project will migrate. I think whether it migrates or not isn't just a slogan; it depends on each DAO's treasury, incentive period, and voting power concentration. When the chain shakes, the first to run are often those "whose votes are in others' hands." Anyway, I don't believe in metrics; I prefer to look at consistency: where the money flows, where the words lead, and where the votes ultimately land.
