Hut 8 Signs $9.8B Beacon Point AI Data Center Lease in Texas
Hut 8 signed a 15-year, $9.8 billion lease agreement for the first 352-megawatt phase of its Beacon Point AI data center in Texas. Hut 8 shares rose 33% to $107 after the announcement, setting a record high. The site is expected to begin power supply in the first quarter of 2027, with the first data hall due in the third quarter of the same year.
