Hut 8 Hits Record After Signing $9.8B Texas AI Data Center Lease
Hut 8 signed a 15-year, $9.8 billion lease for 352 megawatts of AI data center capacity at its Beacon Point campus in Texas. Hut 8 shares rose about 33% to around $107 in early Wednesday trading and touched a record $109.88, according to Yahoo Finance. The deal lifts Hut 8’s contracted AI data center capacity to 597 megawatts.
