I muted the group, and the world suddenly feels much calmer... In the past, whenever a hot topic changed, the group would start spamming "Get on board / Last chance," and my mind would get caught up in the hype. Even though I knew my attention was being pulled, I still couldn't resist clicking links and signing a bunch of mysterious authorizations. After muting, I can slowly analyze: what does this thing actually want me to do, what are the risks, and is it worth spending time on.

Recently, some people have also been complaining that on-chain data tools and tagging systems are quite laggy and might even mislead users. Basically, there's no need to overly trust the idea that "a certain address is smart money." My current approach is simpler: I wait a night before jumping on a new hot topic; if I still want to do something the next day, then I proceed; I avoid granting unlimited permissions whenever possible; when chasing trends, I pause first... Anyway, if I miss out, I miss out. Better to play it safe and not be ashamed.
