Manta Network will shut down the staking program
Odaily Planet Daily News: Manta Network announced it will shut down its staking program, stating that the long-term dilution of MANTA holder value caused by the inflation-based reward mechanism does not align with the project’s future development direction. It is reported that staking rewards will officially cease in two weeks (April 20, 2026), and node operators can withdraw at any time starting now. After the staking program stops, no further network rewards will be generated.
Manta Network added that it plans to take over the operation of Manta Pacific’s Layer 2 infrastructure, shifting towards self-operated sequencers and underlying technology stacks to enhance network autonomy and streamline operational structure.
