I've noticed that many traders often miss one of the most reliable entry points. We're talking about a retest — when the price returns to a level it has already broken through. It sounds simple, but this is truly a key moment.

Here's how it works. The price moves upward, breaks through an important level, and then reverses and heads back to that same level. At this moment, what is called a retest occurs. This is no coincidence — at such levels, supply always accumulates, and they act like magnets, attracting the price again and again.

The cool thing is that this works on any time frame. Five-minute candles, hourly charts, daily — the same logic applies everywhere. Each such level has weight, regardless of the period. There is practically no pattern in technical analysis that doesn't involve a retest. It’s a universal tool.

Personally, I see huge potential for entry in this. Instead of trying to catch the price immediately on a breakout, you can wait for the retest and enter under more favorable conditions. Yes, it requires patience. You need to sit and wait for the price to return to the desired level. But this discipline separates those who trade consciously from those who just open positions blindly.

Of course, a strategy of entering on a direct breakout also has its merits. But if you want to increase your chances of success, learning to wait for the retest is a must-have in your arsenal.
