I remember how a few years ago the entire internet exploded with the story of Iranian Sahar Tabar. The girl became a social media star because of her appearance — everyone was writing that she had undergone 50 plastic surgeries to look like Angelina Jolie. But it turned out completely different from what she planned.
Headlines shouted about zombies and a character from "The Corpse Bride" — she looked so strange in the photos. The whole world discussed this case, shared screenshots, and wondered what had happened to her. The hype was enormous.
And then it turned out that it was just a prank. Sahar Tabar used professional makeup and retouching to create this look. No 50 surgeries — just creative content and good Photoshop. People fell for it, including the media. Quite funny, if you think about how easily everyone was fooled.
